Anxiety disorders are neurological disorders in which anxiety is the main clinical manifestation. There are two main clinical manifestations of anxiety disorders: generalized anxiety and panic disorder. Generalized anxiety is generally manifested as panic attacks and fears without obvious objective objects or specific contents. In addition to anxious moods there are also significant vegetative symptoms; such as dizziness, palpitations, chest tightness, dry mouth, frequent urination, sweating, tremors and other autonomic symptoms and muscle tension, as well as motor restlessness. The anxiety symptoms of anxiety disorders are primary, not due to an actual threat, and the degree of tension and fear is very disproportionate to the reality of the situation, for which the patient often feels great distress. Any anxiety secondary to delusions, OCD, hypochondria, depression, phobias, etc. should be diagnosed as anxiety syndrome and not as anxiety disorder.
