Patients with a bad heart will develop edema, usually called cardiogenic edema, which refers to venous stasis of the body circulation caused by cardiac insufficiency, resulting in excessive fluid accumulation in the body, and the patient will develop edema of a generalized nature or edema of a limited nature, characterized by edema starting from the lower part of the body and gradually developing into edema of a generalized nature. There are usually several reasons for a bad heart, such as congestive heart failure, acute pericarditis, hypertensive heart disease, rheumatic heart disease, constrictive pericarditis, restrictive cardiomyopathy, or cardiogenic disease due to hyperthyroidism, all of which can cause patients to develop edema. Once a patient develops any of these conditions, regular, systematic and complete treatment through medication is necessary.
