It takes about 5 minutes to perform a hysteroscopic procedure for a thick endometrium. If the endometrium is thickened, endometrial curettage or hysteroscopic electrosurgery of the endometrium can be performed under a hysteroscope. The endometrium itself is relatively small in size, so the time for hysteroscopic surgery is relatively fast. The thickness of the endometrium can be seen through the hysteroscopy, and the simple surgery can usually be finished in 3-5 minutes, but the surgery also includes the corresponding examination of the hysteroscope as well as the preparatory work, and the examination and preparation for hysteroscopy may take about 10-15 minutes, and clinically it can be carried out under local anesthesia.
