Can the average person tolerate oxaliplatin and tegretol?

Different groups of people have different degrees of tolerance to oxaliplatin and Tegio, generally the degree of tolerance is low in old and frail patients, and the degree of tolerance is higher in young ones. Tegio has anti-tumor effects and can be used for the treatment of locally advanced or metastatic gastric cancer that cannot be surgically resected. It is contraindicated in patients with a history of severe allergy to the constituents of Tegio capsule, severe bone marrow suppression, and severe renal function abnormality. Adverse reactions such as leukopenia, neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting may occur after administration. Oxaliplatin in combination with 5-fluorouracil and folinic acid (formyltetrahydrofolate) can be used for the treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer as well as adjuvant treatment of stage III (Duke’s C) colon cancer after complete resection of the primary tumor and other diseases. It is contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to oxaliplatin or allergic to other platinum compounds, nursing mothers, and patients with existing bone marrow suppression prior to the start of course 1. Adverse reactions such as nausea, vomiting, alopecia, fatigue and fever may occur after administration. The degree of tolerance of oxaliplatin and tiglio varies in different populations, with poorer tolerance in older, frailer patients with more underlying disease and better tolerance in younger patients with less underlying disease. Patients who need to use oxaliplatin and Tegio for treatment should use the drug under the guidance of a doctor.
