A cold should be the result of poor immune system of the patient, who is prone to catching a cold. Some older, immunodeficient patients or younger patients with immunodeficiency, hypocellularity, or those with underlying diseases or tumors can catch a cold after catching a cold. Younger patients without any other symptoms may have acute rhinitis, sinusitis or allergic rhinitis, which manifests as cold symptoms such as runny nose and sneezing. If this problem occurs, the patient has to visit a respiratory specialist for further examination and differential diagnosis, so a cold should not always be considered a cold problem, its can be allergic rhinitis, sinusitis, etc. Occasionally after a cold this situation does not need to be concerned, because it will get better after treatment.
