Antibacterial anti-itch ointment or allergy medication, oral vitamin C, or intravenous calcium gluconate and vitamin C are recommended for prompt improvement of symptoms.

When this occurs, therefore, it needs to be treated with anti-allergy and the patient can apply topical glucocorticoid cream in moderation topically.
