Clinical manifestations include increased menstrual flow, prolonged menstrual period and progressively worsening dysmenorrhea, which is often categorized into four types in TCM.

2. Cold-congealed blood stasis syndrome, with the treatment principle of warming the meridians and dispersing cold (warming the meridians and collaterals of the human body to get rid of the cold in the body), activating blood circulation and eliminating blood stasis, and the use of the Shaohui Pill to expel blood stasis.
3. For the syndrome of phlegm and blood stasis, the treatment principle is to regulate qi and dissolve phlegm (regulating the body’s qi to dissolve phlegm), and to activate blood circulation and remove blood stasis, and Cang Fu Guiding Phlegm Pill can be used.
4. For cases of Qi deficiency and blood stasis, the treatment principle is to benefit Qi and promote blood circulation (to replenish Qi and blood to make the body full of Qi and blood, and blood circulation smooth), and to dissolve blood stasis and dissipate stagnation, please use Lichong Pills.
