Eight Treasures Soup consists of Ginseng, Atractylodes Macrocephalae, Poria cocos, Radix Angelicae Sinensis, Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong, Radix Paeoniae Alba, Radix Rehmanniae Praeparatae, Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae Praeparatae (roasted). However, Eight Treasures Soup is usually decocted with red dates. Eight Treasures Soup, has the effect of benefiting qi and tonifying blood (replenishing qi and blood in the body). It is used to treat deficiency of Qi and Blood. Symptoms include pale or yellowish color, dizziness, tiredness of limbs, shortness of breath and laziness, palpitation (accelerated heartbeat, often accompanied by panic), palpitations (intense heartbeat, panic), reduced diet, pale tongue with thin white moss, and weak or weak pulse.
