Lymph nodes are part of our body, so with normal lymph nodes, we don’t need to treat it additionally. In order to solve this problem, the first thing that should be done, is to find the cause of enlarged lymph nodes. In fact, there are many causes of enlarged lymph nodes, both infectious and non-infectious. Infectious factors can be categorized into viral infections, bacterial infections, tuberculosis infections, fungal infections, parasitic infections, and so on, according to the pathogens. Non-infectious factors include autoimmune diseases and tumor diseases. Neoplastic diseases can be divided into solid organ tumor metastasis, which leads to enlarged lymph nodes, and some blood system tumors, such as lymphoma, which leads to enlarged lymph nodes. After finding the cause of lymph node enlargement, we can carry out targeted, cause-specific treatment.
