The following points should be noted after the cast of foot fracture: First, the weight-bearing activities of the affected limb are strictly prohibited for about a month after the cast is applied, and the X-ray should be reviewed after a month. Second, during the cast period, the affected limb should be elevated as much as possible above the level of the heart to promote the swelling and accelerate the healing of the fracture. Third, the cast fixation process requires timely observation of the tightness, if the cast is too tight will affect the blood circulation of the lower limb patients, further causing necrosis. Fourth, observe the blood flow of the affected limb. If the blood flow is poor, the affected limb is numb, painful and dark, the cast needs to be removed in time to release the compression.
