Is chest pain an early symptom of lung cancer?

  Usually, a variety of diseases can cause patients to have chest pain, which is not necessarily an early symptom of lung cancer and should be analyzed on a case-by-case basis.  There are a large number of organ tissues and nerves in the chest, and the symptoms of chest pain can be caused by a variety of reasons. When a patient develops chest pain, other symptoms or factors should be considered at the same time. If the patient has a history of myocardial ischemia or has high-risk factors for coronary heart disease, such as longer-term hypertension, diabetes, etc., he should be highly alert to chest pain caused by coronary heart disease; if the chest pain is accompanied by fever, related to breathing, etc., it may be pleurisy; if the chest pain is accompanied by carrying heavy objects, it may be muscle strain; if the chest pain is accompanied by long-term smoking, cough, or family history of lung cancer in people over 40 years old, they should be alert to lung cancer causes chest pain.  Therefore, when patients have chest pain, it is recommended to go to the thoracic surgery department of regular hospitals for examination in time to clarify the cause of chest pain so as not to delay the disease.
