Laryngoscopy generally cannot detect esophageal cancer. Esophageal cancer is a kind of malignant tumor caused by uncontrollable proliferation and differentiation of cells in the esophagus, resulting in the formation of abnormal new organisms, which will lead to abnormal foreign body sensation, choking sensation, pain and other discomforts. According to “Esophageal Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment Guidelines”, the gold standard for diagnosing esophageal cancer is pathology results, and CT, upper gastrointestinal imaging, MRI and other auxiliary diagnosis are also needed. Laryngoscopy is not a diagnostic test for esophageal cancer, and the test cannot detect the disease. The diagnosis of esophageal cancer needs to go to the hospital, where a professional doctor will make comprehensive judgment and analysis by combining the results of various examinations. Once diagnosed with esophageal cancer, one should cooperate with treatment as soon as possible.
