Taking sildenafil does not usually cause dependence.
Sildenafil is indicated for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. After taking sildenafil, it is basically metabolized out of the body by the liver and feces, thus there is also no dependence.
Adverse reactions such as facial edema, photosensitivity reaction, shock, malaise, pain, angina, atrioventricular block, arthritis, arthropathy, urticaria, herpes simplex, nocturnal enuresis, and frequent urination may occur after use. It should be noted that patients taking any dosage form of nitrate, patients with known hypersensitivity to the components of the product need to be disabled.
Patients are advised to take sildenafil under medical supervision and not to use it privately.
