What does hypoechoic anterior uterine wall mean?

Anterior uterine wall hypoechogenicity may be an anterior uterine wall cyst or fibroid, which may appear as a hypoechoic zone because of the low density inside the cyst. If there is fluid inside, there may be an echogenic zone. If you are not sure, you can also do further tests, such as hysteroscopy, and local pathological biopsy can be taken for areas of doubt. If it is determined to be a cyst in the uterine wall, treatment measures need to be made based on the size and growth rate of the cyst, as well as the presence or absence of clinical symptoms and the impact on health. If the cyst is relatively small and the growth rate is found to be slow after dynamic review and has no effect on human health, it can continue to be observed and no treatment is needed for the time being. If the cyst is larger, with faster growth rate and frequent bleeding, timely surgery is needed; if it is a uterine fibroid, it can be treated with regular review, drug conservative or surgery according to the size.
