To control anxiety and panic attacks or to choose drug therapy, antidepressants are currently the first choice for the treatment of anxiety and panic attacks, and the current first-line clinical drugs include sertraline hydrochloride, paroxetine hydrochloride, venlafaxine extended-release tablets and so on. These drugs, as first-line drugs, can be used alone or combined with benzodiazepines. Because antidepressants are slow to take effect in the clinic, they need to be combined with benzodiazepines in the early stages of use, and benzodiazepines are preferred to alprazolam and clonazepam. In addition, anxiety and panic attacks also choose psychotherapy when controlling symptoms. Psychotherapy mainly uses cognitive-behavioral therapy and supportive psychotherapy, which mainly explains the nature and prognosis of the disease to the patient through psychotherapy, thus reducing the patient’s psychological burden and also alleviating the fear of anxiety somatic reactions.
