1. General treatment: When children have mesenteric lymphadenitis, it can be accompanied by abdominal distension, abdominal pain, diarrhea and other symptoms. Considering the viral infection, it is self-limiting and can be treated without special treatment. Oral scopolamine can be used as an antispasmodic when abdominal pain is severe.
