Effects of Ambroxol hydrochloride tablets

Ambroxol hydrochloride tablets are phlegmolytic drugs, which can reduce the viscosity of sputum, increase the movement of bronchial cilia and facilitate the expulsion of sputum. It can be used in acute and chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma, bronchial dilatation, tuberculosis, emphysema, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, pneumonia, pharyngitis, interstitial pneumonia, interstitial fibrosis and other diseases causing sputum thickening and difficulty in coughing up sputum. Patients should be observed for adverse reactions during administration. Occasionally, diarrhea, poor appetite, epigastric discomfort, burning sensation and rash may occur. Adverse reactions are mild and generally do not require special treatment. Avoid simultaneous application with powerful cough suppressants to prevent aspiration or sputum obstruction of the airway.
