Is 37.2 considered a fever in adults

Hypothermia is defined as 37.3°C to 38°C. Therefore, 37.2°C in adults does not yet meet the criteria for hypothermia and is not considered a fever, but changes in temperature should be observed and if it continues to rise, a fever is considered.
Temperature measurement is generally categorized by site: oral sublingual temperature, anal temperature and axillary temperature. Oral sublingual temperature is 36.3~37.2℃, rectal temperature is 36.5~37.7℃, and axillary temperature is 36.0℃~37.0℃. Human body temperature is not constant throughout the day, but generally does not exceed 1℃, and women also experience temperature changes during their physiological cycle.
Fever may be caused by pathogens such as viruses, bacteria and other infections, or by non-infectious diseases such as blood disorders. If you find that your body temperature is higher than normal, it is recommended that you go to the hospital for examination to identify the cause of the illness and treat accordingly under the guidance of your doctor.
