Tinea pedis may appear as small papules on the bottom of the foot or between the toes, with small papules and blisters. The blisters fuse with each other to form large blisters, and scratching can lead to vesicles and oozing. The initial inflammation may be severe and the rash may be bright red in color. The itching may be severe and excessive scratching may cause most of the rash to break down and exude blood.
