Dizziness and unstable center of gravity are defined as dizziness accompanied by balance disturbances. If the patient is middle-aged or elderly and the symptoms of dizziness are episodic, most of them are considered to be posterior circulation transient ischemic attacks. The duration of symptoms of dizziness in this patient usually varies from 10-15 minutes, most of them do not exceed 1 hour, and the symptoms usually resolve completely within 24 hours. Cranial CT examination is normal. In some patients, cranial MRI can show ischemic foci. In general, most patients have a history of hyperlipidemia, diabetes mellitus, hypertension and atherosclerosis, and the main purpose is to antiplatelet aggregation and improve blood circulation, as well as to control the patient’s blood lipids, blood sugar and blood pressure. If the patient’s symptoms are persistent, most of them are seen in cerebellar and brainstem lesions, mainly cerebellar and brainstem hemorrhage and cerebellar and brainstem infarction. The patient usually starts suddenly. Patients with cerebellar and brainstem hemorrhage usually start during activity; cerebellar and brainstem infarction usually starts in a quiet state. In cerebellar and brainstem hemorrhage, the cranial CT examination is a high-density lesion; in cerebellar and brainstem infarction, the cranial CT examination is a low-density lesion.
