The three points of bone refer to the three acupoints of kidney, foot Sanli and Shangqiu respectively.
1-Kidney Yu: is the acupoint of the foot solar bladder meridian, in the spinal region, under the spinous process of the 2nd lumbar vertebra, 1.5 inches away from the posterior midline, the main treatment for dizziness, tinnitus, deafness, lumbar pain, lumbago caused by kidney deficiency.
2-Foot Sanli: the acupoint of Foot Yangming Stomach Meridian is also a joint point, the lower joint point of the stomach, on the lateral side of the lower leg, 3 inches below the calf’s nose, one transverse finger outside the anterior crest of the tibia bone, on the line between the calf’s nose and the Xiexi, the main treatment of limb disorders, including knee pain, impotence and paralysis of the lower extremities (lower extremity weakness, numbness and pain), paralysis of the stroke.
3. Shangqiu: an acupoint of the Foot Taiyin Spleen Meridian, located in the depression below the anterior part of the inner ankle, at the midpoint of the line connecting the navicular node and the tip of the inner ankle, treating ankle joint diseases and peripheral soft tissue diseases.
The above three points can be used to treat joint swelling, pain, soreness and weakness of the waist and knees, etc. They are clinically experienced points and are called Bone Three Points.
