Intramucosal carcinoma is a true cancer. Generally, if it is an early cancer occurring in the endometrium, according to the pathological stage, it is intra-mucosal cancer, the lesion is limited to the mucosal layer and the cancer cells have not yet broken through the basement membrane and metastasized to the deeper layers. If intra-mucosal carcinoma occurs, it is an early stage cancer and can be treated by surgery, while the lesion is completely removed, and chemotherapy is not necessarily required after surgery, only regular review is needed. Of course, it also depends on the specific location where the cancerous changes occur. If the cancer occurs in the fallopian tube or cervical canal, it is easy to metastasize because of the thin mucous membrane layer in that area, so it needs to be treated as early as possible, and regular review is needed afterwards.
