What are the tests for palpitations?

If the condition of palpitation (rapid heartbeat, often accompanied by panic) occurs, you can do some tests such as 24-hour dynamic electrocardiogram (ECG), CT imaging, cardiac ultrasound and so on. 1. 24-hour dynamic electrocardiogram (ECG): Because the time of palpitation is uncertain and random, 24-hour dynamic ECG can be a better way to detect the patient’s life status. 2. CT imaging: because it is not sure what causes the palpitation, so we need to do CT imaging to make sure whether the palpitation is caused by coronary heart disease. 3. Cardiac ultrasound: cardiac ultrasound is mainly to find out whether the systolic and diastolic functions of the heart are abnormal, and whether there is arterial valve closure insufficiency or infarction. If palpitations occur, you should go to the hospital immediately for examination and treatment under the doctor’s guidance, and do not use medicines and health products indiscriminately.
