How to correct neck tilt

Neck tilt forward, also known as proboscis, is mostly caused by the imbalance of back muscle strength. Proboscis can be corrected by correcting bad postural habits, replacing suitable pillows, reducing the force on one shoulder and rehabilitation training. The reason of neck tilt is mainly caused by the poor strength of the back of the cervical vertebrae caused by prolonged bowing of the head, or the state of cervical curvature straightening or reverse curvature. 1. Correct bad posture habits: don’t look down for a long time to see the cell phone or play games, every half an hour should get up and move, stretch the neck muscles, relieve muscle fatigue. When walking, drop your shoulders back, tighten your abdomen and straighten your back to reduce the pressure on your hips. Correct your sitting posture, raise your head and chest, raise your computer or the objects in front of you, and strive to look flat or up. 2. Replacement of appropriate pillows: If your neck is sore, you can choose pillows with stronger support, and adopt more supine sleeping position to restore the cervical curvature. 3. Reduce the force on one shoulder: don’t lift heavy items, if you need to lift a lot of things, it is best to spread the weight evenly to both sides of the body. In addition, do not always use the same side of the shoulder backpack. 4. Rehabilitation training: usually you can do more small swallow fly, three-point support, five-point support and other movements. Do more outdoor aerobic exercise, such as swimming and playing ball games. You can also do cervical traction under the guidance of a doctor to relax the neck muscles and promote the recovery of the physiological curvature of the cervical spine. If there are symptoms such as pain and hand numbness along with neck forward tilt, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time.
