Usually a course of Clindamycin for a few days cannot be generalized and needs to be decided specifically according to the duration of the disease, the degree of fever or the presence of other comorbidities. Clindamycin is used for periodontal infections or anaerobic infections with certain aerobic bacterial infections, for example, when there is an upper respiratory tract infection, but the temperature and fever pattern are not high, periodontitis and endodontitis are usually applied for a course of 3 days. However, if the patient has an increased fever, a persistent severe to high fever, a body temperature greater than 38.5℃, accompanied by obvious cough, coughing, chest tightness, shortness of breath, and yellow sputum, pus sputum or purulent secretions, clindamycin should be applied for at least 5 days as a course of treatment. If the body temperature is persistently high, above 39.5℃, accompanied by obvious dizziness and headache, along with obvious chest pain, accompanied by inflammatory and purulent secretions, at least 7-10 days should be used as a course of treatment.
