Possible causes of testicular root pain: 1. Spermatorrhoea corporis, thickening of the spermatic cord can be touched during physical examination. The spermatic cord enters the testicle at the base of the testicle after supplying its blood supply, and the pain is mostly accompanied by radiating pain in the small abdomen or groin area. Ultrasound examination of the spermatic cord and routine blood tests are needed to further confirm the diagnosis. 2. Epididymitis can appear as swelling of the head of the epididymis, the patient feels pain at the root of the testicle, and when touched by hand, the thickened epididymis can be felt, accompanied by obvious pain, and can be further identified by ultrasound examination of the epididymis. 3. Urethral stones can cause radiating pain at the root of the testicle, accompanied by frequent urination, urgent urination and abnormal urination.
