Albendazole tablets are a treatment for parasitic diseases and are deworming drugs. They are a broad-spectrum, highly effective, low-toxicity anthelmintic drug recommended for children aged 2 years and older, and are best taken as a single dose of 2 tablets, taken in the morning. If a parasitic disease has been diagnosed, it can be repeated orally once after 7-10 days to effectively control the infection rate. At present, the most common parasitic diseases are pinworms, which can be manifested as itching of the skin around the anus, or even inflammation due to scratching, mostly accompanied by sleep disturbance, sleeplessness, and even loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, night terrors, teeth grinding and other symptoms. Toys, clothes, utensils and tableware should be washed and disinfected frequently and exposed to the sun to kill the eggs.
