Anesthesiologists may be exposed to radiation in the operating room. In the operating room, anesthesiologists have to be in close contact with anesthetics, monitors, extracorporeal circulation machines and large-scale medical electronic equipment such as blood recycling machines for a long period of time, which are in a long-term working condition and produce a large amount of ionizing radiation; in addition, X-ray filming and fluoroscopic surgery during the operation will also produce ionizing radiation. Anesthesiologists in this environment for a long time, more or less will be harmed by radiation, adverse effects on the body, so the work should try to do a good job of protection, to avoid long-term frequent x-ray irradiation opportunities. The operating room is an important department of the hospital for surgery, rescue, treatment and other work, in which the task of the anesthesiologist is equally important. Anesthesiologists are subject to a variety of occupational hazards, so reasonable precautions should be taken before entering the operating room to mitigate various occupational hazards, such as ionizing radiation, in order to protect the physical and mental health of anesthesiologists.
