Abstract: A 54-year-old female patient is in menopause, has chronic insomnia, has a history of hepatitis B. Her liver function and hepatitis B virus DNA are normal, and because some friends around her have developed cirrhosis due to hepatitis B, she worries that her condition has worsened and repeatedly seeks medical attention. After a series of tests, it was clear that the patient was in stable hepatitis B and was a hepatitis B virus carrier. After treatment with liver relief capsules and psychological counselling, the patient’s mood gradually improved, knots were opened and sleep improved. The patient’s mood gradually improved and her heart knot was opened, and her sleep improved. She did not know she had hepatitis B until she had a child, but she did not care about it because she was busy. It was only when her friend was diagnosed with hepatitis B cirrhosis that she became nervous and anxious, and she repeatedly went to the hospital for checkups. After listening to the patient’s description, the patient was prescribed relevant tests for hepatitis B, such as hepatitis B five items, liver function, hepatitis B virus DNA quantification, hepatobiliary, pancreatic and spleen ultrasound, liver elastography, and methotrexate, and the hepatitis B five items showed positive hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg), hepatitis B virus quantification was less than the detection value, liver function, methotrexate, and liver elastography were all in the normal range, and the ultrasound indicated slight roughness of the gallbladder wall, and the diagnosis was The diagnosis was hepatitis B, but the condition was stable and hepatitis B virus carrier status. The examination showed that the patient’s hepatitis B condition was stable, so there was no need for antiviral treatment and it was sufficient to relieve his anxiety. The patient was given Shu Hepatitis relief capsule orally, which has the effect of relieving the liver and relieving depression, calming the mind and helping the patient to sleep, relieving the patient’s insomnia and facilitating the improvement of symptoms. The patient took the capsule for 2 weeks, and her lover accompanied her to come for a review. The liver function, DNA quantification of hepatitis B virus and fetoprotein were still normal, but this time we saw a smile on the patient’s face. The patient reported that she was now relaxed and had no symptoms of liver pain, bitterness or dryness of mouth, and she was sleeping well. After 3 months of follow-up, the patient did not complain of any more discomfort and had good spirit, sleep and diet. I am glad that the patient’s symptoms have improved after treatment. For the general public, it is often easy to “talk about liver” and feel that liver diseases are “terminal” like cirrhosis and liver cancer. The actual fact is that not all hepatitis B will develop and is not a terminal disease. Patients should keep a positive attitude, try not to get angry, not to stay up late, review liver function, hepatitis B virus DNA quantification, alpha fetoprotein, liver, gallbladder, pancreas and spleen ultrasound twice a year. Quit smoking and drinking, and avoid drugs that damage the liver. V. Personal insight There are many people infected with hepatitis B virus in China, but not all patients with hepatitis B develop the disease, some patients are lifelong carriers, liver function is always normal, and will not cause significant impact on themselves, their families and society. All in all, remind patients with hepatitis B, self importance is necessary, but trust the doctor, review on time, not blindly take drugs, because hepatitis B is completely preventable and controllable disease, do not avoid the disease, has not been to check, resulting in the progression of the disease to cirrhosis.
