How to check for autoimmune diseases

First of all, we remind you to go to a regular hospital to receive treatment, autoimmune diseases belong to the rheumatology department, so after arriving at the hospital, we usually go to the rheumatology department first. The so-called autoimmune disease is the damage of autoantibodies against the body’s own antigens, thus causing some organ-specific or systemic diseases. After visiting the hospital, the doctor will usually prescribe laboratory tests such as routine blood count, blood sedimentation, antinuclear antibody, antinuclear antibody profile, rheumatic series, immunoglobulin, complement, etc., and make a judgment based on the test results. Common autoimmune diseases, like systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, autoimmune liver disease, type 1 diabetes, dermatomyositis, polymyositis, and neurological diseases, are generally able to make a comprehensive judgment based on the results of these tests, physical examination, and imaging examinations. If a systemic autoimmune disease is suspected, there are also tests for specific antibodies against the liver, kidney, reproductive system, and nervous system to make a comprehensive judgment.
