Dietary recommendations after implant surgery

  A fluid diet should be followed to ensure adequate nutrition. Generally, no prosthesis should be worn for 2 weeks after surgery unless specifically needed. Patients who have no choice but to wear a restoration should only wear an aesthetic restoration and not a functional one to avoid pressure on the traumatic area.  On days 4-7 after surgery, a semi-liquid diet. For example, porridge, noodles, egg flower, etc.  8-14 days after surgery; liquid diet.  After 14 days, resume normal diet.         Generally, about 7 days after surgery, the wound is healed, at this time, the wound interface is still called fragile. 14 days later, the wound interface is tough enough to withstand certain external force, and normal diet can be started.
