Body Weight Drinking Formula

At present, there is no formula for calculating the relationship between body weight and water intake in China. A study in the United States suggests that the formula for calculating body weight and water intake is as follows: daily water intake (ml) = body weight (kg) X 40 (ml) – water content of food (ml).
The International Institute of Medicine in Los Angeles suggests that adults should supplement 40 ml of water per kilogram of body weight per day, and the amount of water intake should be the sum of the amount of water in simple drinking water and the amount of water in food, therefore, daily water intake (ml) = body weight (kg) X 40 (ml) – water content of food (ml).
In the Dietary Guidelines for Chinese Residents, the recommended daily intake of water (including water in food) can total between 2700ml and 3000ml. The amount of water recommended in the Dietary Pagoda is 1500ml to 1700ml.
In addition, the amount of water consumed is also affected by factors such as age, physical activity, and ambient temperature.
