Low fibrinogen can be supplemented with protein-rich foods such as eggs, milk, fish and shrimp. Fibrinogen, also known as hemofibrinogen, is a protein required for blood clotting and is synthesized by liver cells. Low fibrinogen may be associated with liver damage, disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC), congenital fibrinogen deficiency (genetic defect) and other causes. In summary, the first thing to do is to identify the primary cause of low fibrinogen, actively treat the primary disease, and on this basis, consider eating more protein-rich foods, which can effectively improve the problem of low fibrinogen. Improvement through diet alone is less effective (or even harmful), and some severe patients may need to be treated with infusion of cold precipitation or fibrinogen injection. Medications should be used strictly on medical advice.
