Pneumonia caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, patients need to use antibiotic treatment, but also need timely symptomatic treatment.
1. Antibiotic treatment: when the patient is diagnosed with Streptococcus pneumoniae, antibiotics should be applied immediately for treatment, preferred penicillin G. If the patient is allergic to penicillin, cephalosporin can be chosen, and if it is a multi-drug-resistant strain of the patient, ticlosporin and other medicines can also be used.
2. Symptomatic treatment: If the patient has severe cough and sputum difficulty, oral aminoglutethimide can be taken. If there is high fever and the body temperature exceeds 38.5℃, antipyretic drugs such as ibuprofen can be used. If the patient has severe chest pain, the use of hot compresses can effectively relieve the symptoms.
