Lung nodular hypodense shadow may be the imaging changes caused by tuberculosis, lung inflammation, lung tumor, etc. Compared with lung tumor, the situation is more serious.
1. Tuberculosis: In case of cavitary tuberculosis, usually cavities can appear in the lungs, which are manifested as hypodense shadows. It can be cured by regular anti-tuberculosis treatment and is usually not serious.
2. Lung inflammation: If inflammation occurs in the lungs, when the inflamed tissue subsides, its density is lower than normal. It needs active anti-infection treatment and can be cured, usually not serious.
3. Lung tumor: the low density shadow of lung nodule may be the lower density of the mass, and there are benign and malignant, which should be further examined, such as enhanced CT, pathology puncture and so on. This situation is more serious.
Lung nodular hypodense shadow should firstly exclude the possibility of tumor, clarify the cause of the disease according to the specific situation and relevant examination, and carry out treatment.
