A swollen face from a toothache requires identification of the cause to determine whether medication is used, and other treatments such as incision and drainage or root canal therapy may also be used. Apical periodontitis: it is caused by pulpitis, pulpitis develops to the late stage, most or all of the pulp tissue necrosis, or bacterial infection, causing inflammation of the periapical tissues, the symptoms of toothache, face swelling. Root canal treatment can be performed to remove the affected tooth.
