For 6-year-old children with recurrent fever, the following measures can be used: first, symptomatic treatment can be given, acetaminophen or ibuprofen can be given to reduce fever, especially when the child’s temperature reaches 38.5℃ under the armpit. Secondly, oral rehydration salts can be given to the child. Repeated fever in children will cause excessive water depletion in the body, and oral rehydration salts can be used to correct dehydration and electrolyte disorders. Finally, blood cultures can be performed, and antibacterial drugs can be used according to the results of the blood cultures. Once the child’s infection is under control, the fever will not recur.
