How to treat vomiting, diarrhea and fever

Vomiting, diarrhea and fever are mostly considered to be caused by acute gastroenteritis, which can be relieved by general treatment such as adjusting diet and medication such as norfloxacin and montelukast.
1. General treatment: patients should pay more attention to rest, avoid exertion, cold, etc., maintain a light diet, avoid eating cold, spicy and other stimulating foods. If the patient vomiting, diarrhea is serious, should be fasting and water, to reduce gastrointestinal stimulation, at the same time pay attention to replenish body fluids, to avoid water-electrolyte imbalance.
2. Drug treatment: including symptomatic treatment and causative treatment. Vomiting, diarrhea and fever are mostly caused by acute gastroenteritis due to bacterial and other pathogenic infections, and patients can choose appropriate antibiotics for anti-infective treatment according to the results of drug sensitivity, such as cephalosporin, norfloxacin, gentamicin and so on, and carry out symptomatic treatment.
Symptomatic treatment is mainly to relieve the patient’s symptoms, if the patient’s diarrhea is serious, can take montelukast and other antidiarrheal drugs; if the vomiting is serious, can use metoclopramide, vitamin B and other antiemetic; if the fever does not go down, can use acetaminophen, ibuprofen and other antipyretic drugs.
Patients with vomiting, diarrhea and fever are advised to seek timely medical attention and actively receive treatment. Drugs need to be used in strict accordance with the doctor’s instructions, not self-medication, so as not to delay or even aggravate the condition.
