Some epilepsy can be cured, and some require long-term oral antiepileptic drugs. For patients with primary epilepsy, antiepileptic drugs are generally preferred, and some patients may be able to control their epilepsy after medication, and the clinical cure can be discontinued, and most need lifelong oral antiepileptic drugs. If secondary epilepsy is considered, such as when caused by cerebrovascular disease, usually seen in large cerebral infarction and massive cerebral hemorrhage, most patients may have a stroke capsule left in the brain after treatment of the primary disease and can have seizures, requiring long-term application of antiepileptic drugs to control seizures. If a malignant tumor is considered, long-term medication is also required. If the tumor is caused by a benign tumor, it may be clinically cured after removal of the tumor.
