Will myopic surgery be invisible in old age?

Patients after myopia surgery are generally not blind in old age, but the exact vision prognosis is related to the patient’s condition.
Myopia surgery includes two major types: laser surgery and posterior chamber IOL implantation in crystalline eyes, of which laser surgery includes excimer laser surgery, full femtosecond laser surgery, and many other types. After myopia surgery, patients do not become blind because they have had myopia surgery in the past when they reach old age.
If patients experience vision loss, it is mostly due to other eye diseases, such as retinal detachment, macular degeneration, etc., and has little to do with myopic surgery.
It is recommended that patients with significant vision loss should seek prompt medical attention to assess their condition and follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment.
