Dizziness belongs to the category of vertigo in Chinese medicine. There is no such thing as “which acupuncture point is most effective for dizziness”. The causes of dizziness are different, and so are the acupuncture points. And due to differences in personal constitution and condition, the therapeutic effect varies from person to person and cannot be generalized.
Vertigo can be categorized according to the cause of the disease. For vertigo caused by solid symptoms, moxibustion can be applied to acupuncture points such as Baihui, Fengchi, Taichong and Neiguan. For those with hyperactivity of liver yang (high liver yang, causing dizziness, dizziness, headache, etc.), Xingma and Manxi can be added; for those with phlegm-dampness obstruction (phlegm-dampness staying in the spleen and stomach), Zhongkou, Yinlingquan and Fenglong can be added.
For dizziness caused by deficiency, moxibustion can be applied to Baihui, Fengchi, Liver Yu, Kidney Yu, and Foot Sanli. For deficiency of qi and blood, add spleen yu, stomach yu, qihai; for deficiency of kidney essence, add hangzhong, sanyinjiao, zhigong.
If you are not feeling well, it is recommended that you consult a professional doctor for diagnosis and treatment in order to avoid delaying your condition. Moxibustion should be carried out under the guidance of a Chinese medicine practitioner in a regular hospital, and should not be operated on its own, so as not to cause adverse consequences.
