Can perianal cysts heal on their own?

Perianal cysts generally do not heal on their own and must be treated effectively to heal. Perianal cysts, or epidermoid cysts that occur in the perianal area, are benign tumors that are relatively uncommon. Perianal cysts have a layer of cyst wall, like an eggshell moccasin, and there is no way to completely cure them without surgical removal of the whole thing. Patients with perianal cysts may present with a feeling of anal swelling and defecation, which may be accompanied by pain, and a solid mass can be palpated in the patient’s perianal area. Patients should go to the anorectal department of the hospital in time and undergo surgical removal after diagnosis to avoid prolonged cysts. During surgery, patients with perianal cysts should pay attention to improving immunity and reducing the recurrence rate. After surgery, they need to pay attention to regular review, strengthen nutrition, proper exercise and balanced diet to avoid recurrence of cysts.
