Mo dry lotus can be used to treat gray hair caused by deficiency of liver and kidney yin, but the efficacy of single Chinese medicine is limited, clinically need to be used with other Chinese medicines after identification by traditional Chinese medicine practitioners.
It is used to nourish the liver and kidneys, cool the blood and stop bleeding, remove dampness and stop itching. It is used for treating dizziness, premature whitening of hair, toothache due to kidney deficiency, epistaxis (vomiting blood, nosebleed), coughing up blood, urination and blood leakage (excessive menstrual flow or dribbling), vaginal itching, whitish turbidity (cloudy urine like white slurry), and reddish leucorrhoea (abnormal leucorrhoea with blood in it or blood clots in it).
It should be noted that people with spleen and kidney deficiency and cold should not take Murraya.
