Composition: Xiangsha Liujun Pill consists of wood, sand nut, Codonopsis, atractylodes macrocephala (fried), poria, roasted licorice, tangerine peel, half-summers (made of ginger), ginger and jujubes. Ginseng Strengthening the Spleen Pill is composed of ginseng, Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae (Bran Fried), Poria, Chinese yam, tangerine peel, Mucuna pruriens, Radix et Rhizoma Alismae, Radix Astragali Praeparata, Radix Angelicae Sinensis, Radix Jujubae Jubaeaeae (fried), Rhizoma Polygoni Multiflori (Prepared). Indications: Xiangsha Liujun Pill is used for indigestion caused by deficiency of the spleen and stagnation of qi, belching (hiccups) with little food, distension of the epigastrium (abdomen), and loose stools. Ginseng Strengthening the Spleen Pill is used for the weak spleen and stomach caused by dietary inactivity, stuffy and noisy epigastrium (stomach feeling similar to hunger, emptiness with burning), nausea and vomiting, abdominal pain and loose stools, inappetence, weakness and lethargy.
