What are the “warning signs” of urine?

Many men will unconsciously look down when urinating, which is actually a very good habit. Urine is not only a normal physiological metabolite of our body, but also a barometer of health status. The amount of urine you urinate every day, the feeling you get when you urinate, and the change in the color of your urine may all represent some kind of reaction from your body, suggesting the existence of a health hazard. Peeing is not far away In men’s restrooms there are often similar prompts “a small step forward, a big step for civilization” to remind men to try to urinate in the urinal. But for some men, they do not want to pee in the “prescribed range”, but is not able to urinate far, and even urine will drip pee on the shoes. The male urethra is just passing through the prostate gland, and the enlarged prostate will press on the urethra, which leads to poor urination and not far from the urine. The actual fact is that you can find a lot of people who are not able to get a lot of money from the internet. Some middle-aged men will mutter this in their hearts. This is also suggestive of a possible prostate enlargement, says Liu Cundong. As the prostate gland continues to grow, the pressure on the urethra increases and so does the pressure on the bladder. But this increase in bladder pressure is not endless, and yet the enlargement of the prostate gland is likely to continue. If no intervention is made, the pressure on the urethra continues to increase and the urine will become thinner, not far away, or even eventually obstructed and unable to urinate. Urinary bifurcation There are two types of urinary bifurcation: one type of bifurcation does not occur frequently and may be caused by a temporary partial obstruction at the opening of the anterior urethra or urethra. For example, the bifurcation of urination in the morning, that is because the urine accumulated in the bladder overnight, the pressure in the bladder is high, and the force of impact when urine is discharged is also high, so that the shape of the urethral opening is temporarily changed. Sometimes after ejaculation, because part of the semen still remains in the urethra, while the penile corpus cavernosum congestion has not completely disappeared, can also lead to poor urination, urinary bifurcation phenomenon. Long-term bifurcation of urination, that is a pathology. Liu Cundong explained that it is common for people suffering from urethritis to have bifurcation of urination and difficulty in urination due to repeated episodes of inflammation and the formation of scarring of part of the urethral lining tissue after a long period of time, resulting in partial narrowing of the urethra. During the onset of acute urethritis, congestion and swelling of the urethra and a lot of secretions can also cause bifurcation of urination, which must be treated promptly. Stones in the anterior part of the urethra may also cause bifurcation of urine. Waiting to urinate It takes 20 minutes or even half an hour to go to the bathroom, and people think he is going to take a dump, but in fact it is just a pee. Waiting for urine is also a difficult problem for many men. Liu Cundong explained that when a normal person urinates, when the brain gives the command to urinate, the sphincter that controls urination will immediately relax, while the bladder force muscles will contract, and then within a second there will be urine discharge, and with the so-called positive feedback effect, the contraction force of the bladder force muscles will get bigger and bigger so that the urine is completely discharged from the body at once. However, patients with urethral strictures (e.g. prostatic hyperplasia, bladder outlet obstruction) have to wait for some time before urination starts. This is due to the presence of obstruction at the bladder neck and the uncoordinated activity of the bladder sphincter and forceps. When the latter contracts, the former does not relax, resulting in the bladder neck and posterior urethra not opening well and urine not being discharged smoothly, but having to take time to build up pressure in the bladder, i.e., symptoms of delayed urination. Therefore, the cause of waiting to urinate is related to the urethra and bladder. However, the cause of urinary waiting is not a single factor, but psychological factors may also play an important role. Psychological factors are often manifested as excessive tension or panic in the mind. Inflammation of the prostate gland is mainly due to excessive contraction of the sphincter, insufficient or untimely diastole, and uncoordinated cooperation with the bladder forceps. In this way, waiting to urinate is produced. Therefore, the cause of waiting for urine is sometimes the result of tension in the heart. Foam in urine There is a folk tradition of looking at urine to determine whether you are sick or not, and many elderly people judge whether they have kidney disease based on the foam in urine, which they believe is caused by the protein in urine. Liu Cundong pointed out that many patients with kidney disease will have foam when they urinate because of the high protein content in the urine. But foamy urine is not necessarily protein urine, high uric acid in the urine and more concentrated urine may also appear foamy when urinating. If you want to clarify whether the foam in urine is caused by certain diseases, you need to go to a regular hospital to receive systematic tests, such as urinary routine, 24-hour urine protein quantification, and urine sedimentation test. Hematuria We can also have red urine after eating certain foods, which can be quite “scary”, such as red meat dragon fruit. If you exclude the food factor, if your urine is red, it is often indicative of hematuria. Liu Cundong explained that if the hematuria is accompanied by pain, it suggests that there may be an infection or stone disease. If it is just hematuria without any pain, then be more careful and be sure to check to rule out whether you have a tumor. The urine in the urinal after waking up in the morning is like rice soup, and even floating oil flowers, what is going on? Liu Cundong analysis, this situation may be celiac urine. The celiac discharge from the urine is due to the lymphatic fluid containing protein and fat in the lymphatic vessels discharged from the body with the urine. It suggests that there may be filariasis or tuberculosis or tumor, etc. It is recommended that immediate medical attention should be sought. Gas urine The presence of gas in the urine during urination is called gas urine, which is called “gas gonorrhea” in Chinese medicine. The more common clinical cause is the presence of a fistula between the urinary tract and the intestine, such as trauma, tumors, tuberculosis, segmental ileitis, and other diseases that can lead to emphysematous urine. Some patients also have pneumaturia due to emphysematous cystitis or emphysematous pyelonephritis. Emphysematous cystitis is an inflammatory condition in which gas is present in the bladder wall or lumen and is more prevalent in patients with diabetes. Gas pyelonephritis is a rare fulminant kidney infection with gas in and around the renal pelvis, often complicated by sepsis, pus accumulation in the kidney, and necrosis. In addition to gas in the urine, sometimes fecal residue, food debris, tumors, and cheese-like material are excreted.
