It can be used in the treatment of dry cough, cough due to yin deficiency, paralysis of the throat (redness, swelling and pain in the pharynx, or dryness, foreign body sensation, or itchy discomfort in the pharynx and difficulty in swallowing), sore throat; deficiency of gastric yin (insufficient yin fluid in the stomach), thirst due to injury of the fluid, thirst due to internal heat (fever accompanied by symptoms such as overeating, excessive drinking, excessive urination, etc.), intestinal constipation; deficiency of yin of the heart and heat disturbing the camp of the heart due to warm diseases, heartburn, insomnia and so on.
