Can polycystic ovary syndrome occur with normal menstruation?

It is possible to have normal menstruation with polycystic ovary syndrome because some people have anovulatory type of menstruation. The diagnostic criteria for polycystic ovary syndrome are as follows: a. Non-ovulatory: polycystic ovary syndrome manifests itself as non-menstrual or sporadic menstruation, with very few people having menstruation every month, but anovulatory type menstruation. Second, there are polycystic changes: that is, there are more than 12 small follicles on each side of the ovary. Third, high androgens: such as obesity, acne, and hirsutism. If two of these three points are met, the diagnosis of polycystic ovary syndrome is made. Some people may also have anovulatory type of menstruation although they are more normal and regular. The diagnosis of polycystic ovary syndrome can usually be determined by ultrasound examination for polycystic changes, and cannot be ruled out completely because of regular menstruation.
