2. Folliculitis: can occur in the head and face eyebrows, common clinical manifestations of red papules around the hair follicles, sometimes pus, itching, pain and other symptoms, bacterial infections caused by folliculitis can be used externally mupirocin ointment, fusidic acid cream or oral cefuroxime, amoxicillin for treatment.
Folliculitis caused by fungal infection can be treated with topical miconazole cream, econazole cream or oral fluconazole, terbinafine. If suppuration occurs, incision and drainage are required if necessary.
3. Sebaceous cysts: caused by the blockage of sebaceous gland excretory ducts, often manifested as a round swelling on the skin, the surface is smooth, and redness, swelling and pain can be found when secondary infection occurs. Treatment is usually based on surgical treatment, such as incision of the cyst to remove the swelling. For some patients who develop infection, antibiotics such as erythromycin and mupirocin can be used for treatment.
