The treatment of advanced liver cancer needs to be based on whether there is extrahepatic metastasis or not, if there is no extrahepatic metastasis, chemotherapy coupled with surgery can be used, if there is extrahepatic metastasis, medication program can be used. If there is no extrahepatic metastasis in advanced stage of liver cancer, most of the tumors belong to large or giant liver cancer, i.e. tumors larger than 5cm. Its treatment plan can be chemoembolization of hepatic artery first to make the tumor smaller, and then surgery to remove the tumor. When extrahepatic metastasis occurs in the advanced stage of liver cancer, drug treatment can be used. Targeted therapy, such as sorafenib, can be used.
