Etiology of capillary pulsation

When the patient’s nails are lightly pressed with a finger or the mucous membrane of the patient’s mouth and lips with a slide, it can make the area white, and when the heart contracts, the area is red again, and the regular alternation of red and white occurs locally with the cardiac cycle is the capillary pulsation sign. Capillary pulsation is often due to severe aortic valve insufficiency caused by damage to the valve leaflets due to rheumatic fever. When these conditions occur, small veins or arteries appear on the skin as red filamentous mesh or stellate damage pressure of the peripheral capillary wall dilatation, the disease is a capillary dilatation disease of unknown cause that spreads over the extremities and trunk. It is most commonly seen in women aged 40 to 50 years. The capillary pulsation sign is an ancillary test used to check for normal blood vessels. The capillary pulsation sign (seen in severe aortic valve insufficiency or peripheral capillary wall dilatation) can be determined by light pressure on the end of the patient’s fingernails or on the mucosa of the patient’s lips with a slide. The site of the lesion and the corresponding signs can be determined by this examination. Abnormal findings: Also known as “capillary pulsation”. If the patient’s nail bed end is lightly pressed with a finger or the mucous membrane of the mouth and lips is lightly pressed with a clean slide, if a rhythmic microvascular pulsation with alternating red and white is seen, it is called a positive capillary pulsation sign. It is commonly seen in diseases with increased differential pulse pressure, such as arteriovenous catheterization, aortic valve insufficiency, hyperthyroidism and severe anemia. People who need to be examined: routine physical examination items, people with vascular abnormalities.
